Chiltern seeds say: "With its beautifully perfumed flowers this is one of the traditional `Cottage GardenĀ“ plants. Even if you havenĀ“t the space for massing it in the border as once it was grown, you should at least have some plants as even a few flowers mixed with other summer blooms will scent an entire room. Although a perennial, it is best grown as a biennial when it will remain in flower from June to September. It can also be grown as an annual. With its beautifully perfumed white flowers, this is one of the traditional 'Cottage Garden' plants.
